Writing for Better Lives
I like when things work, and I love when things work better. Over the last decade, I have been an employee, board member, or employee at several nonprofits—in healthcare, arts, social justice, and international development. I also have a Masters in Behavior & Decision Science from the University of Pennsylvania, with applied practice in research and program design.
In this time, I have learned to believe in the power of clarity, of what is and of what can be. Accurately describing the mechanisms that compassionate people use to improve lives naturally leads to new, better solutions often from previously overlooked stakeholders. Accurately defining purpose, through logic models, KPIs, and evaluation methods, helps to prove—and share how—these new solutions really work.
